Family photography holds a dear place in my heart. I bought a DSLR camera when my wife Lacey and I were expecting our first son. I took all kinds of pictures to capture that time in our lives. Over the years I have been intentional to record milestones in my family. I even took my camera in the delivery room to capture my boys being born. I wanted to capture every moment! It is a honor and a privilege every single time a family entrusts me to do the same with their loved ones!
Growing up I remember only having a single professional family portrait. It was when I was about four years old. It was of my mom, my dad and I. That picture is forever burned into my mind. Unfortunately, it's the only one I have of my family that is good enough to hang in a frame and our lives have dramatically changed since then.
