The wild ones
I’ve wrote about it before and I’m here to say it again. Toddler sessions are one of my favorites!
I had the opportunity to meet little Celia and her parents Lee and Tessa last year when she turned two for a family session. We walked around and Celia explored. It was a great time.
This year for her third birthday we did the session on their property. It was very special. There's something special about capturing families at their home where they make so many memories.
Celia was extremely comfortable this year which according to her parents is a very rare thing. She was so comfortable that she wanted to play chase with me more than take her photos.
Her parents were embarrassed as I played in the yard with her snapping shots as they came up. That's what sessions with these little ones are made of though! I felt right in my element having two very active little ones of my own.
When we were all wore out from running around it was so refreshing to sit down and have a great conversation with Celia's parents about life in general and how this time in the world has been so difficult for us all.
This session brought me so much joy and truly warmed my heart. I cannot wait for more sessions like this during this fall and winter season!
