I wanted to be a chef

I wanted to be a Chef my whole life. I fell in love with food at an early age. When I travel I plan out the restaurants and hit up the best food joints.

I live north of St. Francisville and there are many places to go to eat in town. If I want delicious comfort food in a place that feels like home our family goes to South of the Border. No, they don’t serve Mexican food. It has its name because its south of the Mississippi border.

They’ve been open since 1947 and recently have gotten new owners Maghen and Grady. I was thrilled when they asked me to take some pictures of their dishes for their website! I could literally do food photography every single day and be happy as can be.

I had more fun on during this photo shoot than I have had in a long time. I’m looking forward to watching Maghen bring her vision to life at the Border and so glad I’m able to be a small part of that journey!
