Consistency is key when it comes to branding. When we talk about branding we are talking about the emotion and feelings clients walk away after interacting with you and your brand. This feeling and experience comes through in every single social media post, story and interaction.

Photography plays a tremendous part in building a consistent branding throughout all of your business avenues. I encourage business owners to take all the photos they can themselves. Mobile phones (iPhone AND Android) BOTH have phenomenal cameras with amazing software enhancement.

I encourage all business owners to use their cell phones as much as they can. I’m actually so passionate about people learning to do photography on their own I am in the works of making an entire training suite for users of all levels.

As good as these phones are and how impressive their technical specifications are they simply CANNOT do what a professional photographer can do. It’s not all about gear either. It’s about lighting, drama, bringing out the emotion and expressions that perfectly fit the story you want to tell through these photos. It is the personalized curation of your brand’s story that makes an impact.

That is where consistency comes into play.
